QJMOTOR Malaysia has officially launched its latest compact scooter, the AX200S, at Courtyard Kuala Lumpur. Designed for modern urban commuting, the AX200S is available in three colours: Grey, Moon Blue, and Sand Brown.

Priced from RM7,988 (excluding road tax and insurance), the AX200S is now offered at authorised MForce dealers nationwide.

Powered by a 175cc single-cylinder, 4-valve SOHC engine with liquid cooling and EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection), the AX200S delivers 13.0kW at 8,500rpm and 15.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Its CVT transmission with belt final drive ensures smooth, gearless riding, while the pressure splash lubrication system enhances engine efficiency and durability.

Aerodynamic winglets at the front help improve stability by deflecting wind. Measuring 1,930mm in length, 720mm in width, and 1,120mm in height, with a seat height of 780mm and ground clearance of 145mm, the scooter is easy to handle. Weighing just 127kg and equipped with a 10-litre fuel tank, it’s ideal for city travel.

Suspension comes via a telescopic front fork and rear coil spring with oil damping, while CST tubeless tyres (100/80-14 front, 120/70-14 rear) offer reliable grip. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels (230mm front, 220mm rear), supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Tech features include a full-colour LED meter, C.D.I ignition, and dual USB charging ports (Type-A and Type-C) in the front compartment. LED lighting all around and an emergency signal button enhance visibility and rider safety.

Additional highlights include a Side Stand Safety Switch, smart keyless system with mechanical backup, and switchable Traction Control System (TCS) for better grip on slippery roads. A spacious under-seat compartment adds convenience for daily use.
