Aveta Malaysia, one of Malaysia’s leading home-grown motorcycle brands, has unveiled its Preferred Dealers’ Program, a nationwide initiative designed to enhance customer experience, deepen dealer partnerships, and accelerate the brand’s next phase of growth. This announcement follows the successful launch of the Aveta Elite Centre earlier this month, marking another key milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence and service excellence across Malaysia.

The program marks Aveta’s preparation for its next phase of growth in 2026, with the brand aiming to double its sales performance year-on-year. This effort is supported by a tiered
dealer network and a focused expansion into East Malaysia. With business performance already doubling this year, Aveta is making significant investments in dealer infrastructure and aftersales capabilities to deliver greater accessibility and reliable service.

The Aveta Preferred Dealers’ Program introduces a tiered structure consisting of Preferred Dealers and Preferred Plus Dealers. These new categories are designed to deliver a consistent, worry-free ownership experience supported by professional aftersales care. The initiative also underscores Aveta’s long-term commitment to building a sustainable, service-driven dealer ecosystem across Malaysia.

“Malaysia’s motorcycle market has rebounded strongly, with sales surpassing 720,000 units in 2022 and a projected CAGR of around 3.5% through 2030, as consumers increasingly favour efficient, mid-capacity bikes,” said Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Malaysia

Aveta’s vehicle registrations in the market have tripled since the launch of the Nova 160 and Vanguard 250 models — a clear sign of robust and growing demand in this segment. Given East Malaysia’s importance as our largest market, expanding our dealer and service network in Sabah and Sarawak is not just desirable, but essential,” he added.

Under the new structure:

  • Preferred Dealers will focus on Aveta’s key models tailored to different market segments, offering targeted solutions to meet diverse rider needs.
  • Preferred Plus Dealers will operate certified Aveta Service Centres with trained mechanics and specialised tools supplied by Aveta, ensuring professional and reliable aftersales support.
  • The Elite Centre (Flagship Store) will serve as a one-stop hub for sales, service, and parts — showcasing Aveta’s full product range and brand experience.

Both the Elite Centre and Preferred Plus Dealers will also gain access to exclusive models, recognising their strategic role in Aveta’s expanding distribution network.

Customers can look forward to a more rewarding and reliable ownership experience through the Preferred Dealers’ Program. The initiative ensures consistent service standards and stronger aftersales support across all outlets, giving riders greater confidence, peace of mind, and a unified Aveta experience no matter where they are in Malaysia.

With East Malaysia being Aveta’s strongest market, the brand is prioritising customer accessibility and service reach in Sabah and Sarawak. Recognising the long-standing challenge of service availability in these regions, Aveta’s expansion of Preferred Dealers and service centres will ensure wider coverage and improved customer support. The opening of the first Elite Centre in Sabah marks a major milestone in bringing premium sales, service, and ownership experiences closer to riders in East Malaysia.

“The Preferred Dealers’ Program reflects Aveta’s commitment to putting customers first while rewarding dealers who share the same vision of growth and service excellence. The program will be rolled out in stages, with a target of 30 appointed Preferred Dealers nationwide by the end of 2025 and an expanded goal of 50 by the end of 2026,” said Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Malaysia

Through this initiative, Aveta is building long-term partnerships based on trust, accountability, and shared progress — ensuring every rider enjoys a seamless, worry-free ownership experience.

DEFENSIVE RIDING

“It doesn’t matter how good you are at riding a motorcycle, heck you could even be a GP rider. But you can’t control others on the road and there will always be that one dumbass that can potentially cause you lots of trouble. Stay safe, stay defensive and stay focused on your bike.”
