celebration. The event served as a platform for MODENAS to strengthen engagement with stakeholders and rider communities while celebrating the festive season in a relaxed and meaningful environment.

During the event, MODENAS also officially announced its participation in the
Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2026 under the Pro-Am category, marking the
company’s renewed commitment towards grassroots motorsports development and performance positioning.

For the 2026 season, MODENAS confirmed its collaboration with the following racing
teams for the championship:
● Raynorton Motorsport
● Maju Mega Bike Racing Team
● MC Tajam Racing Team
● DF Racing Team

The teams were selected based on their competitive track record, technical capabilities and development potential within the Malaysian Cub Prix championship. They will feature the Modenas Z15GT, allowing competitive racing as a platform to demonstrate performance capability while strengthening brand presence throughout the season.

“Through our collaboration with the teams, we aim to strengthen our competitive
presence by showcasing the performance capability of the Z15GT in real racing
conditions. At the same time, our participation in the Malaysian Cub Prix 2026
reflects MODENAS’ continued commitment to strengthening grassroots motorsports
and supporting local racing talent” said Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of
MODENAS.

He added that MODENAS chose to announce this initiative during the MODENAS
Riang Raya 2026 event, saying that “This event gives us the opportunity to celebrate
another significant milestone with our partners, media and rider communities who
have continued supporting MODENAS over the years.”.
The Malaysian Cub Prix Championship, established in 1994, is recognised as
Malaysia’s premier grassroots racing platform and a key development pathway for
riders progressing to higher levels of motorsports competition. MODENAS’
participation in the Pro-Am category reflects a strategic approach to enhance brand
visibility, support rider development and strengthen engagement with the motorcycle
community nationwide.

Besides the line-up announcement, MODENAS Riang Raya 2026 also featured
community engagement activities, networking sessions, product displays and rider
gatherings involving MODENAS, Kawasaki and KYMCO communities. Further
reinforced MODENAS’ commitment to building a stronger motorcycle ecosystem.

DEFENSIVE RIDING

“It doesn’t matter how good you are at riding a motorcycle, heck you could even be a GP rider. But you can’t control others on the road and there will always be that one dumbass that can potentially cause you lots of trouble. Stay safe, stay defensive and stay focused on your bike.”
