Benelli Malaysia confirms launching of this retro-style Leoncino 500 in second half of 2017.
Leoncino is a fast and compact street bike that has 17” alloy wheels. It delivers maximum pleasure on the road. The tyres are 120/70-ZR17 at the front, 160/60-ZR17 rear, guaranteeing stability and performance in any condition. The front suspension features an upside down 45mm fork, mated to 4 piston brake calipers gripping 320mm discs. The rear swingarm’s movement is controlled by a laterally mounted shock absorber and braking is handled by a 260mm disc with a single piston caliper.
Leoncino has a twin-cylinder four-stroke engine, liquid-cooled, 500cc, with maximum power of 47,6 CV (35 kW) at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 45 Nm (4,6 kgm). Featuring wet sump lubrication, electronic injection, overhead double camshaft timing system, 4 valves per cylinder, hydraulic clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. The steel trellis frame ensures maximum versatility and maneuverability.
The design from CentroStile Benelli perfectly matches the motorcycles sharp forms with harmonious lines all while excluding the pure emotion that Benelli is famous for. From the front fender, it proudly displays the iconic Lion of Pesaro, on the fuel tank and seat, all flowing and ABS, digital instrumentation and projectors with LED technology make an exceptionally high quality machine.

Operation General Manager of Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd (Benelli Malaysia Distributor), Mr Asri Ahmad said that Leoncino 500 was slated to be one the of the bikes to arrive in Malaysia. It would be available at an extremely competitive price still to be defined.
“We have received more than 6000 units order of Benelli motorcycle after the launching of Benelli first ever underbone RFS 150i, the touring bike TRK 502 and sport bike 302R in early April.”, added Mr Asri. With the launch of RFS 150i, the demand of Benelli motorcycle has considerably increased across the country, thanks to its attractive brand proposition, competitive selling price, Italian sophisticated and dynamic design and also advanced technology. Benelli Malaysia is pleased to announce that they will be exporting 2 models (RFS 150i and TNT 135) to Taiwan, Vietnam and targeting other nearby ASEAN countries.
