Targeting to collect more valuable points for the 2018 season, Adam Norrodin seems to perform consistently (as of Free Practice 3 at the point of writing) in Argentina. The Termas de Rio Hondo circuit is not a stranger for Adam as he made headline in 2016 when he pushes the bike to cross the line when crashed out just a bend away from clinching a strong finish.
Following from a good start on the opening round in Qatar where he scored 5 points for the Petronas Sprinta Racing; Adam looks set to push his riding with a focus to be amongst the top 10 in Moto3. As the sole Malaysian representative in Moto3, the hopes are high for him to do well from the motoring fans here in Malaysia; especially coming from the great result by Khairul Idham in his rookie Moto3 years. The hopes sure falls on Adam’s shoulder now and he was cool about it and said to focus more and more into his personal experience and learning more on the traits of GP racing.
To look closer on Argentina’s round, the circuit has a fast flowing layout to it; almost similar to the Qatar circuit. The Moto3 according to some of the rider will be ridden hard and almost full throttle in most of the section. There are 2 to 3 tricky places on the circuit which will be the determining factor for a great fast lap on board the Moto3 machine. Looking at the body language of Adam, he seems to be happy with the base setup of his machine for the Argentinian GP this weekend. Based on the data provided, we reckon that Petronas Sprinta Racing might be looking at their Malaysian rider walking away with lots of valuable points and possible fighting within the leading group. We are hopping that a great result will be on Adam’s side for the race tomorrow.
