Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS), a  member of the DRB-HICOM Group, celebrated the achievements and contributions of  its nationwide dealer network at the MODENAS Dealer Dinner & Awards  Presentation Night 2026, held at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang. 

The event brought together MODENAS’s leadership, representatives of the Malaysia  Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association (MMSDA), dealers and business partners  to recognise outstanding performance and strengthen long-term partnerships. 

Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of MODENAS, said, “Our dealers are not  simply a distribution network. They are our partners, our connection to the market and  the face of MODENAS throughout Malaysia.”  

“As MODENAS moves forward, we will continue strengthening our products, our  dealer network and the ownership experience we provide to customers. With our  dealers moving in the same direction, I am confident we will be able to achieve even  more together,” he added. 

A total of 67 awards were presented across five principal dealer categories. The  awards recognised dealers for their sales achievements, professionalism, customer  commitment and contribution to the continued growth of MODENAS. 

The event also saw the official Malaysian launch and price announcement of the  KYMCO XCITING VS 400, with a recommended retail price of RM27,988.

Following its showcase at the Malaysia Bike Show in May, the KYMCO XCITING VS  400 enters the market as a sport-touring maxi scooter designed to balance everyday  practicality with comfort and confident performance on longer journeys. 

Powered by a 400 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder engine, the XCITING  VS 400 produces a maximum output of 24.9 kW at 7,250 rpm and maximum torque of  37.5 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Power is delivered through an automatic continuously variable  transmission. 

Key equipment includes a traction control system, front and rear ABS, a five-level  adjustable windscreen, keyless operation, a comfortable two-stage seat, five-step rear  suspension preload adjustment and 29 litres of illuminated under-seat storage. 

The model is available in Flat Black and Cerulean Blue and is backed by a two-year  or 20,000 km warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions. 

Sales will commence on 15^th August 2026 through authorised MODENAS dealers  nationwide.
