Ipone, the world-renowned high-performance lubricant brand and title sponsor of the AHM Ipone Racing Team, kicked off the 2026 MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship with a statement performance. During Round 1, held at Litar Lumba Tangkak, Johor on 25–26 April 2026, the team proved their championship mettle early on.

Rider Arash Tsunami Kamarudin delivered a stunning podium finish in the CP125 class, setting an emphatic tone for the months that followed.

A Podium Start to the 2026 Campaign

Backed by Ipone’s advanced technology, the AHM Ipone Racing Team entered the 2026 season with a clear ambition: to challenge for championship honors at the highest level. Arash’s P3 finish on the opening round served as an early validation of the team’s capabilities and technical preparation.

Round 1 CP125 Results: Tangkak Highlights

Arash Tsunami Kamarudin delivered a composed and commanding performance across 12 laps at the Tangkak circuit. His statistics for the opening round were impressive:

This result placed Arash firmly in the top three of the CP125 standings right from the jump, signaling the team’s intent to be a constant threat on the podium.

Powering the Performance: The Shogun Range

The mechanical edge behind Arash’s campaign was Ipone’s Shogun range. As the most advanced 4-stroke engine oil in the lineup—engineered with 100% PAO and Ester technology—it provided the thermal stability and protection required for the grueling conditions at Tangkak. The success at Litar Lumba Tangkak provided the necessary springboard for the remaining seven rounds of the 2026 season. Following this podium finish, the team shifted its focus to Round 2 at Litar Antarabangsa PETRONAS Sepang (Utara), carrying the momentum of a successful season debut.
