Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (“BSH” or “the Company”) announced the completion and operational readiness of its new, purpose-built Centralised Spare Parts Warehouse at its headquarters, marking a significant step in strengthening its after sales ecosystem and supply chain capabilities to better support its nationwide dealer network and growing customer base.

Built form the ground up, the new facility spans approximately 5,533 square metres, representing a 238% increase compared to the previous spare parts storage facility. The expansion enables BSH to support higher inventory levels while improving overall operational efficiency and readiness to meet future demand.

The warehouse features a 9-metre height clearance, along with significant increases in storage area and overall capacity, allowing for more efficient space utilisation and streamlined operations.

Designed as a fully centralised facility, it integrates inbound, storage, and outbound processes into a single operation, improving inventory accuracy, handling efficiency, and coordination across procurement, logistics, and after-sales functions. This enhances parts availability and supports timely distribution to over 114 Honda Impian X and 7 Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide.

Developed in line with Honda’s global logistics benchmarks, the facility incorporates optimised layout planning, vertical storage utilisation, and system-driven inventory tracking to improve productivity, accuracy, and operational standards.

The warehouse is built to support projected demand growth through 2031 and has achieved Green Building Index (GBI) certification, reflecting BSH’s commitment to sustainable operations.

Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda, said: “The introduction of our new Spare Parts Warehouse is a strategic step in strengthening our after-sales foundation in Malaysia. As our network continues to grow, it is essential that our infrastructure evolves to support both our dealers and customers more effectively.

This facility enhances our operational efficiency, improves parts readiness, and enables us to deliver a higher standard of service experience.”

Construction of the warehouse began in May 2025 and was completed in March 2026, with full operations commencing in May 2026.

DEFENSIVE RIDING

“It doesn’t matter how good you are at riding a motorcycle, heck you could even be a GP rider. But you can’t control others on the road and there will always be that one dumbass that can potentially cause you lots of trouble. Stay safe, stay defensive and stay focused on your bike.”
