Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS), a member of the DRB-HICOM Group, today unveiled three new models at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026, expanding its product offering to better serve evolving rider needs across multiple segments. 

The models introduced are the Modenas Z650 S, Kawasaki Z1100 SE and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, reinforcing MODENAS’ strategy to cater to a broader spectrum of riders, from everyday commuters to performance-oriented enthusiasts. 

Commenting on the introduction, Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of MODENAS, said the three models supported the company’s wider effort to provide Malaysian riders with more choice across different categories. 

 “The motorcycle market continues to evolve, with riders seeking products that align with their lifestyle, experience and performance expectations. The Modenas Z650 S, Kawasaki Z1100 SE and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R strengthens our range of products available to Malaysian riders across the street, premium naked and supersport segments,” said Roslan. 

The Modenas Z650 S is introduced as a middleweight street model that combines everyday practicality with responsive performance and a more assertive design, appealing to riders seeking versatility for both daily use and weekend rides.

The Kawasaki Z1100 SE expands Kawasaki Malaysia’s premium naked segment offering with a larger-displacement model that combines enhanced performance, refined engineering and rider-focused features for more discerning riders. 

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R continues Kawasaki Malaysia’s supersport legacy, offering a model that carries the established Ninja performance identity, supported by aerodynamic styling, advanced rider support features and Kawasaki’s supersport engineering direction. 

Beyond product expansion, MODENAS continues to enhance the overall ownership experience through improved dealer readiness, after-sales support, parts availability and technical capabilities. 

“Introducing new models is only one part of the customer journey. Equally important is ensuring that customers are supported throughout their ownership experience, from dealer engagement and after-sales service to rider activities and community connection,” Roslan added. 

MODENAS will also continue to support owner engagement initiatives, riding activities and community-driven platforms such as Lokal Lagi Syok, as part of its broader effort to build stronger connection with riders beyond the point of purchase. 

The newly introduced models will be showcased at the MODENAS and Kawasaki Malaysia booth throughout the Malaysia Bike Show 2026.
