Aprilia Capanord, not really an all new model from the Aprilia as it was introduced back in the early 2001 until it was stop in 2008. This time, it looks like it will be making a return in for the year 2013 and it does looks like it will be having some great features on it. With this, the Aprilia are looking to go up against some tough market where the BMW and DUCATI has long becoming dominant in the segment.
No full details has been given for the bike and from the speculation of International media, it is likely to be based from Dorsoduro 1200 engine platform and will be some great performance parts on it too(Brembo and Ohlins probably). This if turned into a reality can really bring the competition directly to the market and maybe can surprise us with an amazing performance and reliability.
From the looks, we can surely say that it derives mostly from the Dorsoduro 1200 and also the RSV4R. But doesn’t mean as a good thing as we find it quite unpleasant to look at and it’s quite hard to take it seriously. Well for now, we can just sit back and wait for it to be available and hopefully that the ride will amaze us so that we will forget about how unpleasant it looks.
