Batu Kawan, 23 September 2026 — The Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Pulau Pinang, His Excellency Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Ramli Bin Ngah Talib, today visited Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (“BSH” or “Company”) headquarters in Batu Kawan, Penang, as part of an engagement to gain a closer understanding of BSH’s operations, motorcycle manufacturing and model line-up.

The visit included a briefing on BSH’s business and manufacturing operations, a tour of its
manufacturing plant and an overview of Honda’s motorcycle offerings, spanning various segments to meet the diverse mobility needs of Malaysian riders.

A HERITAGE BRAND ROOTED IN PENANG
The visit holds particular significance for BSH as a Heritage Brand that has been synonymous with the development of Penang’s motorcycle and industrial landscape since 1957. Today, BSH’s Batu Kawan operations employ 362 reflecting the Company’s role as a long-standing local employer. Building on this heritage, BSH continues to evolve through its dedication to innovation, strengthening its manufacturing and business capabilities to meet the changing mobility needs of Malaysians.

As a token of appreciation for the state’s continued support of local manufacturing, BSH presented a Honda ADV160 with Honda Roadsync to the Office of the Governor (Pejabat Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang), for use in the Governor’s official community outreach and escort activities. The presentation stands as a symbol of Penang-assembled mobility and BSH’s pride in the technical capability of its local workforce.
