Penang, 15th April 2018. SYM Malaysia unveils the world debut of the new VF3i to the Malaysian market today.
Begin with the engine the SYM VF3i comes with a liquid-cooled 185cc single-cylinder four-valve SOHC engine which is the biggest displacement in its category. The SYM VF3i’s EURO 3-Compliant mill on the other hand healthily offers 17.7hp at 8500 rpm, all of which is sent to the rear wheel through a 6 speed transmission.
The chassis comes with a pair of telescopic front forks; telescopic coil spring oil damped single shock absorber at the back & a large 250mm single disc brake setup at the front and 200mm disc at the back. On board is also a large 7 liter fuel tank which is suitable for long distance rides. The aerodynamic bodywork engineered by SYM helps the rider slip through winds with ease as well.
There’s more to the SYM VF3i, the SYM VF3i comes with bright LED DRL’s at the front which allows the SYM VF3i to be easily seen on a sunny day, a pair of sporty LED signal lamp and a rear LED lamp are included as well. The speedometer on the other hand comes with a stylish digital & analog combination design.
And when you factor in the SYM VF3’s affordable price compared to other moped bikes from the same category, enthusiasts will be amazed with what comes on board. The SYM VF3i is available in Red, Blue & Matte Black (SE) and it retails for RM7988.00 for the standard & RM8288.00 for the Special Edition (Excluding GST & other fees).
