On Board Video: Simply an awesome technique

We haven’t really got the chance previously to discuss about our passion in film making and why are we doing what we are doing. Filming is firstly our founder’s passion and it has been his dream to become a film maker although the journey is highly likely to be a rough one for him. Malaysian Riders was introduced based from his passion and thus giving us the main platform in delivering our main content to all of our audience in the form of films.

Film techniques is a vast scope to be discussed on a single post, therefore on this update we will be speaking of the wonder of ON BOARD videos with the introduction of new cameras in the past few years. In the old days, making an on board video seems to be a pain in the arse as we will be needing to rig the huge camera to body of he vehicle or anything that we want to make an on board video.

With the introduction of GoPro, the world of filming has becoming easier with plug and play style of filming. In the span of more than 8 months of Malaysian Riders existence, we have been using the technology to good use and we have to say that it is one of the most versatile piece of gadget that we have right now. The cost to do so being reduce to more than 40% and this is great for us small time film production organization.

In the video embedded to this post, we have the 2012 Honda Goldwing and CBR1000RR for us to share with all of our audience. Apart from great camera angle that we can explore, at the same time it gives us the chance to share with everyone that never got the chance to ride such machine to experience a near close to reality of the ride itself.
